The San Diego Police Department has stated on social media that it is seeking assistance from the public in locating Jack Lee Turner, a 78-year-old man reported missing from his assisted living facility yesterday. The call for help has been deemed urgent as Turner is considered at risk due to his age and circumstances.
Turner is described as a Black male with grey hair and beard, brown eyes, standing 5-foot-8 and weighing around 120 pounds. According to the San Diego Police Department's post, he was last seen utilizing a walker and wearing a burgundy flannel alongside dark pants. He walked away from the facility at approximately 12:30 PM the previous day.
On August 16, 2025, at approximately 1230 hours, Jack Lee Turner walked away from his assisted living facility and was reported missing.
