Utah's cross country team is lacing up for another competitive season, with the 2025 schedule revealing a series of meets across the Beehive State. Announced on Monday, the lineup includes five regular-season competitions, leading up to the Big 12 Championships on October 31st. According to UtahUtes.com, the team is set to open the season at the UVU Invitational on August 29th, hosted at Scera Park in Orem.
Moving the Beehive Invitational up by a month, the Utes are excited to host their sole home meet of the year on September 12th at Sugar House Park. While being familiar territory, Utah will get a taste of this year's NCAA Championships course early, competing in the Gans Creek Classic on September 26th. Subsequently, they'll send runners to face the Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational in Logan, which, although stated as September 10, is most likely a typographical error and should be in October.
The squad aims to build on last season's success, having finished third in the Big 12 Championships. This year's event will return to the Rim Rock Farm in Kansas on the spookiest day of the year. As the season progresses, Utah will host the NCAA Mountain Regional on November 14th at the Regional Athletic Complex, marking it the first time since 2019.
