The clinic promises a deep dive into basketball fundamentals, with an emphasis on footwork, ball-handling, passing, and shooting. Participants will have the chance to put what they learn into action with 5v5 games. Tucked inside this skill-building opportunity, each registered participant will score a Jazz t-shirt, according to a social media post from the Salt Lake City Police Department.
Set at the ZBBC, the Jazz's practice facility is at 1420 South 500 West. The clinic requires prior registration. Interested parties can sign up through a link provided in the social media announcement. Addressing the need for such events, the clinic aims to provide a constructive space for young enthusiasts to brush up on their basketball prowess.
As the excitement builds, those trying to perfect their layups and jump shots will find an ideal court at the ZBBC. With slots filling fast, the community's youth are encouraged to register posthaste, ensuring their place in this sporting event that stands as a testament to the enduring partnership between the Utah Jazz, Salt Lake Police Foundation, and Salt Lake City Police Department.
