For those looking to hunt with any legal weapon, dates to carefully note include the early-season any-bull elk hunt from October 4 through October 10, and the late-season counterpart slated to occur immediately after, from October 11 to 17. Utah Wildlife News also highlights that any legal weapon spike-bull elk hunt is scheduled to span from October 4 to 16, offering a continuous stretch for elk enthusiasts to legally pursue their game.
Deer hunters, meanwhile, should prepare for the general season, a legal weapon buck deer hunt planned from October 18 to 26. Lastly, the state has set aside October 29 to November 6 for the general-season muzzleloader elk hunt. With these dates in mind, hunters can strategically plan their outings, ensuring they are compliant with state regulations and maximally positioned for a successful season.
