
A tragic episode unfolded on the South Side of Chicago, where a 70-year-old man was savagely beaten to death, ABC7 Chicago reported. The incident occurred on Monday night, and Chicago police responded to a call at about 9:15 p.m. on the 9500-block of South Halsted Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim lying on the ground, suffering from severe head trauma. Despite being rushed to Advocate Christ Hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries. As the detectives of Area Two delve into the investigation, they revealed that the assailant, a man not yet known to them, had pushed the victim to the ground and continued the assault until flight, no one is in custody at this time.
