
A house fire that erupted on Fox Tail Drive in Clarksville is now extinguished, according to officials from Clarksville Fire Rescue. Following an earlier call, fire crews worked to contain and extinguish the blaze, which had engulfed parts of a residential property. In the Clarksville Fire Rescue social media update, the organization confirmed the fire was out as of 4:30 p.m.
Initially spotted with heavy flames on the rear and sides, Engine 11 was tasked as the first unit to arrive. No one, having been at home when the event took place, came to harm, and the homeowner has been notified. The cause of the fire is under investigation, Clarksville Fire Rescue reported. Responding to the emergency alongside Engine 11 were Ladder 9, Tanker 1, Rescue 9, Ladder 10, Rescue 10, Squad 1, Ops 2, District Chief 3, and Battalion Chief 2.
Earlier reports indicated that the situation was swiftly being managed. The fire was officially stated as under control at 3:49 p.m., before it was fully extinguished. Teams assigned from District 2 and District 3 were dispatched to respond to the urgent call for a working residential structure fire.
