The message comes in the wake of active rescue operations conducted by the crews due to the area being affected by significant flooding. The post, published by the Clarksville Fire Rescue, underscores the dangers associated with traversing flooded regions.
In their plea, they emphasize the intrinsic risks that come with the inability to discern the depth of water, or to gauge the stability of the road or ground that lies submerged beneath the deceivingly calm surface of floodwaters. It was made clear, it is NEVER safe to walk or drive through such perils, the Clarksville Fire Rescue stated.
