Residents and commuters in Columbia, Tennessee, can now breathe a sigh of relief as the roads that were temporarily closed due to undisclosed issues are now open once again. The Columbia Police Department took to social media to inform the public that the eastbound lane of S. James Street, which had been closed at Campbellsville Pike, was once again welcoming traffic.
The department had earlier issued a notice regarding the road closure, directing traffic to divert up Highland to avoid the area. "S James at Denham. East bound S James is closed at Campbellsville Pike. Traffic is being diverted up Highland. Please avoid the area if possible," read the advisory posted on their Facebook page.
