Amador Torres, 77, was reported missing after he did not return to his residence located at 1801 Northeast 140th Street since Sunday morning. Standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds, Torres was last spotted wearing a red shirt and khaki pants. WSVN shared these details in a report about the ongoing search.
Having previously gone missing, Torres, despite not being formally diagnosed with any cognitive conditions, is known by his family to get lost sometimes. North Miami Beach Police Department officials are intensifying their search and appealing to the public, in a call for vigilance and any potential leads that may aid in locating Torres. Police have described Torres as weighing 190 pounds and at five-foot-eight, in a statement obtained by Local 10.
Anyone with information about Amador Torres' location is prompted to immediately contact Detective Salien of the North Miami Police at 305-891-0294 ext. 23011. The North Miami Beach Police Department has also requested that sightings of Torres be reported to them at 305-891-0294, according to their statement.
