The second phase of expansions at Bradford Neighborhood Park in the Town of Davidson is complete. The park, located at 13045 Robert Walker Drive, now includes a new picnic shelter, a landscaped walking loop, and playground enhancements.
According to the Town of Davidson release, the project was completed in collaboration with the Bradford Neighborhood HOA. Public Works staff finished the improvements in September with the addition of a new section of sidewalk.
Funding for the project came from the American Rescue Plan (ARPA), identified by the town as an infrastructure investment.
Leslie Willis, Davidson Parks and Recreation Director, said the improvements aim to enhance how residents use the space.
