The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has released its latest roll call of individuals deemed "most wanted" for alleged crimes ranging from murder to child sexual assault. This roster is part of a collaborative effort with Crime Stoppers of El Paso to engage the public in tracking down suspects who are considered significant threats to community safety.
Led by Sheriff Oscar Ugarte, the initiative is putting a spotlight on names such as Rafael Sanchez, accused of murder with a bond set at $1,000,000, and Alan Herrera, who faces charges for sexual assault of a child—a crime severe enough to restrain him without bond.
According to a social media post published by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, the list includes Jose Cruz Rivas, wanted for assaulting a peace officer or judge, and Pablo Enrique Martinez, whom the authorities are pursuing for continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, alongside aggravated sexual assault of a child. Martinez's bond has been set at $100,000. Yet another individual, Jose Hector Romero, is on the run for intoxication assault with a vehicle leading to serious injury, with his bond at $25,000.
The public is urged not to approach these individuals but instead to relay any information to Crime Stoppers of El Paso by calling (915) 566-8477 or submitting tips online.
