Taking place on Saturday, October 11th, the festival is a family-friendly celebration honoring the dedication of local firefighters. This year, according to a social media post from the El Paso Fire Department, the event will unfold at Veterans Park from 12 to 6 PM.
With more than a month to go, residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for what's shaping up to quickly become a staple of the city's annual festivities. Sponsored by @labinotilaw, this edition of Fire Fest promises to be larger than previous editions. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy live music performances, savor a diverse selection of eats from food trucks, and browse the offerings at a local farmers market.
The festival's itinerary includes art competitions, the Fire Department Loteria, and a blood drive. Those looking to stay ahead of flu season can also receive free flu shots, provided as part of the day's health and wellness initiatives.
