HTeaO, known for its vast selection of fresh-brewed, drive-thru teas, hit the ground running when it opened its Arizona outpost; the iced tea stop has become a hive of activity, with customers lining up for the 20+ flavors of sweet and unsweetened teas brewed daily, the buzz of the Glendale location has placed it among the top HTeaO stores nationwide after a grand opening that saw 430 free cups of tea and 827 half-priced gallons distributed, according to a statement obtained by Glendaleaz.gov. Owner Justin “JT” Turner expressed gratitude, "We are beyond thankful for the incredible support received by the Glendale community," he told Glendaleaz.gov, adding that the company was looking forward to strengthening its ties with local outreach programs and schools.
Glendale's entertainment landscape has also accelerated with the addition of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games—featuring electric kart racing, VR experiences, and arcade games. The venue is already proving to be a major draw for families, tourists, and corporate events. Since late April, Andretti's foray into Glendale has produced a whopping $6.2 million in sales, overachieving its target by $200,000 with significant contributions from walk-in customers, generating $2.2 million in track sales and $1.2 million from arcade games, Ryan Glaus, Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, Glendale's General Manager proudly stated, "Our state-of-the-art facility offers a wide range of experiences, from high-speed karting and cutting-edge arcade games to elevated dining and social spaces," in an interview with Glendaleaz.gov.
Retail isn't left out of the Glendale boom—James Avery Artisan Jewelry opened its doors to eager shoppers at Arrowhead Towne Center, bringing its iconic designs to a new audience in Arizona. The company's foray has been met with robust foot traffic, signaling a warm welcome by both aficionados and new customers alike, Karina Dolgin, James Avery's chief product and revenue officer, conveyed the importance of the expansion, "We’re deepening that connection by bringing Arizona customers the full in-store experience James Avery is known for — personal service, craftsmanship, and meaningful design," she explained, as reported by Glendaleaz.gov while also noting the brand's recent recognition as a 2025 US Best Managed Company.
Glendale Mayor Jerry P. Weiers underscored the cumulative impact of these businesses, "Glendale's growth is evident with the many new business openings we’ve celebrated this summer and those still to come," he said, hinting at an even brighter future for the city that has already benefited from the Glendale Economic Development team's concerted efforts. The recent opening of Porsche Arrowhead marked another notch in Glendale's success story.
