Local 10 reports that “future” Imelda is forecast to pass through the Bahamas, bringing heavy rains and strong winds there. South Florida is expected to experience only outer rainbands, with a sun-and-cloud mix, north-northeast winds of 5–10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph, and temperatures in the low 90s over the weekend. On Sunday, an outer rainband from “future” Imelda may reach South Florida, bringing showers and gusty winds.
