According to the NYPD Crimestoppers' social media post, the assault took place inside a residential building located at 1451 Washington Avenue on September 10, at approximately 6:17 PM. Within the jurisdiction of the 42 Precinct, a 32-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man fell victims to this unprovoked aggression.
Details shared by the NYPD describe how four suspects entered the building and confronted the individuals. It was then, one of the suspects brandished a knife and inflicted a laceration on the woman's body. Accosted simultaneously, the second victim, a male, also suffered a slashing to his head by another member of the group, wounding him. The authorities have not released any information regarding the motive behind the attack or the condition of the victims after the assailants fled the scene.
