One Dead in Early Morning Three-Vehicle Collision in Hialeah, Police Investigating Cause

Early this morning, tragedy struck at a busy Hialeah intersection when a three-vehicle collision resulted in one fatality. Hialeah Fire Rescue officials, who responded to the scene, disclosed to Local 10 News that the crash was reported at approximately 4:22 a.m. at the intersection of Hialeah Drive and Le Jeune Road, where they confirmed one person was pronounced dead at the site of the accident. Local 10 News also reported that, aside from the fatality, no other deaths or injuries had been reported.

The Hialeah Police Department began its investigation into what led to the fatal event. Traffic in the area experienced significant disruption due to the ongoing investigation and subsequent road closure, but the Hialeah Police have not yet divulged additional specifics regarding the cause of the crash or about the individuals involved, as stated by WSVN News.

Local commuters faced major delays after a crash shut down the roadway. Authorities kept the area closed for investigation and urged drivers to avoid Hialeah Drive and Lejeune Road, suggesting alternate routes. The advice, however, came too late for many already stuck in traffic.
