Pembroke Pines is introducing a new monthly event at the Charles F. Dodge City Center Plaza. Called Beats and Bites, the Thursday night series will feature live music and food, offering a retro-inspired experience designed to bring the community together. Each event will run from 7 to 9 p.m., with organizers embracing a “Throwback Thursday” theme that highlights music from past decades. As reported by the City of Pembroke Pines, each month will showcase a different decade’s music, performed by local and regional bands.
The event is designed to be both a musical and culinary experience. Alongside nostalgic performances, food vendors will rotate each month and offer menu items that tie into the evening’s theme. According to the city’s press release, attendees can expect treats that match the music, making it an immersive night out.
The series begins Thursday, October 23, with additional dates set for November 20 and December 18. Organizers say the event is designed to be both a nostalgic concert and a culinary experience, inviting residents to dance, sing along, or simply relax under the tent and enjoy the atmosphere. More details on upcoming themes, performers, and food vendors will be available on the city’s event page.
