Concern is mounting for 53-year-old Moises Juarez, who has been reported missing after last being seen heading towards an Illinois Metra station. Juarez, a Wisconsin resident, had informed his family that he intended to take a flight to Mexico, but his whereabouts have since turned into a question that law enforcement and his loved ones are eager to answer.
The Chicago Police Department has issued an alert for Juarez, describing him as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with brown eyes and partly grey hair. Complicating the urgency of his disappearance is his recent surgery to amputate his left toes, a measure taken in response to complications from diabetes. According to a statement by the Chicago Police, people are encouraged to come forward quickly with any information that might safely return Juarez to his community.
The case, assigned the number JJ400985, indicates that the last confirmed contact with Juarez was on August 13, 2025. Since then, there has been a troubling silence, and the lack of new information has only served to deepen the concern. Those with even the slightest breadcrumb of knowledge are urged to contact the Area One SVU at 312-747-8380 or to simply call 911.
