The 2025 Eastern Utah Economic Summit, set for Oct. 13-14, is calling upon business, education, government, and community leaders to join the conversation at Utah State University Eastern. The summit, according to USU Today, will feature U.S. Senator John Curtis among its speakers and is being hosted on campus with the intention of fostering collaboration that transcends industry boundaries.
The event kicks off with a networking opportunity on Oct. 13, facilitated by the Southeastern Regional Development Agency. Yet, the real meat of the summit occurs on the following day, with a full agenda planned that includes keynote addresses and sessions designed for participants to delve into several key areas: energy, infrastructure, technology, and innovation. As noted by USU Today, one of the highlights of the day is the Pitch Competition, a chance for emerging businesses to showcase their ideas to a panel for the chance to gain feedback, increase their visibility, and potentially win a monetary award.
In addition to the learning and networking aspects, the summit will also bestow recognition on those who have made significant strides in advancing the regional economy.
