The incident, which took place at approximately 16:39 yesterday, reportedly began when the driver slammed into a steel bench before colliding with a 5-year-old girl on a scooter, subsequently striking a tree. The young victim was swiftly transported to a local hospital to receive treatment for life-threatening head injuries. Perales highlighted that the young girl's condition was critical and "may not survive", underscoring the gravity of the situation.
