
Tragedy struck in Coronado as two construction workers, both in their 50s, were found dead at a residential job site, leading authorities to suspect a fatal drug overdose. The Coronado Police Department detailed the grim discovery in a social media post, stating that officers were summoned to a home in the 400 block of H Avenue at approximately 1:00 PM following a 911 call.
Upon arrival, emergency responders desperately attempted to resuscitate the unresponsive men, but tragically, both were pronounced deceased at the scene. Detectives have since been diligently working to thoroughly piece together the events leading up to this devastating outcome. Preliminary investigation found evidence pointing to illegal drug usage, though the official cause of death remains to be conclusively determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
The individuals, who have not yet been publicly named, were reportedly active workers on the property.
