
Chicago police have announced the arrest of 22-year-old Kyir Walker, a resident of the 13000 block of S. Evans Ave., Chicago, Illinois, in connection with an armed robbery incident. According to information published on the Chicago Police Department's official website, Walker was apprehended on October 2, 2025, at about 6:16 p.m., on the 3600 block of N. Sheffield Ave., and is charged with one felony count of armed robbery with a firearm.
The arrest stemmed from a May 11 incident, wherein Walker allegedly robbed a 23-year-old male at gunpoint, taking personal property. The crime occurred in the 600 block of N. Clark St. within the 18th District. Held in police custody, Walker is scheduled for a detention hearing at 2600 S. California on October 3.
