Hollywood Police are investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred yesterday early morning at a rental home being used as an Airbnb. Around 3:35 a.m., several armed men entered a residence on the 700 block of North Southlake Drive during a house party, CBS12 reported.
According to NBC Miami, the suspects assaulted three people, striking them with weapons. Two victims were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects stole cellphones, money, and jewelry before fleeing the scene.
Airbnb stated that the incident was not connected to an active Airbnb reservation and that the listing has been suspended. Hollywood Police are reviewing surveillance footage and witness statements to identify the suspects.
