Atlanta Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Friday last week at 1130 Moreland Ave SE. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded around 8:07 p.m. after reports of a person shot. Upon arrival, they found a woman with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police said the victim was alert, conscious, and breathing when transported to the hospital for treatment. Investigators from the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
