
The Broward Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a burglary suspect following a smash-and-grab incident at a Lauderdale-By-The-Sea bicycle shop. According to WSVN, the theft occurred close to 8:20 p.m. on September 18 at Pedrito’s Bike Shop. Thieves broke through the storefront, leaving behind a damaged cash register and approximately $1,900 missing.
Detectives arrived at the small business on 238 Commercial Blvd to a chaotic scene. According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the suspect is described as having tattoos on both upper arms. Details from a Boca Post report indicate that the incident unfolded at 8:19 p.m., highlighting the sense of urgency in capturing the individuals responsible for this crime.
