The Bay Area is gearing up for a bustling Super Bowl LX week, and the festivities are set to include the big game and a sonic boom of live music events headlined by country sensation Chris Stapleton. To infuse the sport-laden week with some philanthropic spirit, the Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC) has announced the first event for the BAHC Live! Concert Series. The series will debut during Super Bowl week at the legendary Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, and it's kicking off with Stapleton's performance on Saturday, February 7, according to the Bay Area Host Committee.
It seems BAHC is determined to quickly follow up the announcement with additional shows that promise to provide entertainment and support for a good cause. A portion of the proceeds from these events is set to benefit the Tipping Point Community, an organization focusing on fighting poverty in the Bay Area. Stapleton's fans, BAHC, and Tipping Point members will have the opportunity to snatch their tickets during a presale on Thursday, October 23. The general public can start purchasing tickets the next day at 10 AM through Ticketmaster, with further information on VIP packages available via email to [email protected], as the Bay Area Host Committee confirms.
Everyone's aware that when the pigskin is in play, big bucks tend to swirl around it. Santa Clara's Levi Stadium is set to play host to Super Bowl LX in February and six FIFA World Cup games later in the year. However, the stadium's expected expenditure of roughly $6.3 million notwithstanding, these events are predicted to flush tourism dollars into the region's economy, as reported by SFGate.
