
Yesterday morning, Clarksville Fire Rescue responded swiftly to what could have been a devastating house fire on Cobblestone Lane. A social media post from the department provided the public with immediate insight into the event, revealing that the fire had been contained to the garage of the residence. According to Clarksville Fire Rescue's Facebook page, the call came in at 6:05 AM and upon their arrival, the crews witnessed flames and smoke.
"Upon arrival, all residents were out of the home and Engine 7 confirmed flames and smoke were visible," as reported by the Clarksville Fire Rescue. The team's efficiency was evident as they were able to declare the fire under control by 6:30 AM and extinguished by 6:41 AM. It is a relief, indeed, that no injuries have been reported in what might have been a life-threatening situation.
The professional response included various units such as Engine 7, Ladder 10, Rescue 10, Ladder 6, Squad 1, Ops 2, District 2, and Battalion 3. The American Red Cross has been contacted to provide assistance as needed, indicating the fire's impact on the household's daily life. Currently, the cause of the fire remains unknown, with investigations underway.
