The Hagen Ranch Road Branch Library is gearing up to host its annual bash for the community. Slated for Sunday, October 19, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, the event promises a showcase of local organizations and a chance for some hands-on financial literacy training, all under the umbrella of the fifth annual community fair, as reported by the Palm Beach County Government's newsroom.
Organized by the Library’s Teen Advisory Board (TAB), the event—titled TAB Presents: Our Town Community Fair—offers a look at local resources for residents. Attendees can meet representatives from seven community organizations, including the Florida Department of Transportation and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Interactive stations, such as a hands-on mini store, will give visitors a fun way to explore money management and other services.
What Douglas Crane, Director of the Palm Beach County Library System, said about the program is something to take note of. "This event gives teens the opportunity to lead while connecting the public with important community resources," he told Palm Beach County Government's newsroom.
