
The El Cajon Police Department has taken a significant step in curbing the trafficking of dangerous narcotics, following an investigation that led to four arrests and a hefty seizure of drugs. According to a social media post by the El Cajon Police Department, detectives closely monitored a group suspected of high-volume drug operations before coordinating with uniformed officers to detain the individuals.
Uncovered during a search of a nearby apartment, owing to this extensive investigation, the officers discovered multiple vacuum-sealed packages containing approximately 26 pounds of illicit substances. The haul included fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine.
El Cajon Police Chief Jeremiah Larson commended the team's efforts, remarking on the steadfast dedication to community safety. "This operation reflects the dedication and teamwork of our officers and detectives who work tirelessly to protect our community from the devastation caused by dangerous drugs like fentanyl," said Larson, per the El Cajon Police Department.
