El Paso High School, a landmark of education since 1916, is opening its doors to future students and their families this Saturday, Nov. 1. Known for its rigorous academic offerings and a range of extracurricular activities, the institution encourages its students to engage fully in the educational experience. According to El Paso ISD, the high school's Program Day event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., giving visitors a chance to tour the campus, meet educators, and get a glimpse of what it’s like to be a Tiger.
At the heart of El Paso High's philosophy is the belief that students must actively prepare to face an ever-changing world. The school endeavors not only to equip learners with knowledge but also to foster critical thinking and resilience. "Our students learn in a supportive environment that celebrates diversity, creativity, and resilience," the district explained, as per El Paso ISD. Program Day participants will be able to learn more about the school's advanced placement courses and leadership programs, designed to inspire students to think critically and act with integrity.
The fine arts and athletics departments, often celebrated for their accomplishments, are a tribute to the dedication present within The Lady on the Hill. Prospective Tigers can expect to witness first-hand the blend of tradition and progress that makes El Paso High a unique educational space. The high school stands out as one of El Paso ISD’s most historic campuses. Visitors on Program Day will discover the range of opportunities available to students, from award-winning arts to competitive sports teams.
