
The Escondido Police Department is reaching out to the public for help in identifying a suspect involved in an altercation at a local AM-PM store on September 24. According to a social media post from the Escondido Police Department, the individual in question is accused of shoplifting and assaulting the store manager.
The incident occurred when the suspect allegedly concealed items with the intent to leave the AM-PM without paying. Upon being confronted by the store manager, reports suggest that the suspect pushed them several times before fleeing the scene. The escape vehicle has been described as a black Toyota 4Runner. The Escondido Police Department has provided a photograph of the suspect for assistance in the identification process.
