As the leaves begin their annual descent, Evendale Emergency Services has announced that it will offer free leaf bags to residents to help manage the autumnal detritus. The service is aimed at keeping yards tidy by providing a means to collect fallen leaves, grass clippings, and yard waste. The giveaway is happening at the Service Department on select dates in October.
Residents looking to take advantage can swing by on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on October 8 and 15, or on Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on October 11, 18, and 25. There's a limit of 75 bags per household, and be sure to quickly mark the dates, as the bags are given out on a first-come, first-served basis, and the supplies are not going to last forever. To receive the bags, residents must bring proof of residency and be ready to sign to confirm the pickup.
This community initiative highlights the village's commitment to keeping the environment clean and orderly. The distribution also encourages residents to only take bags for their own use, ensuring that the benefits are spread evenly among the community.
