A series of break-ins targeting smoke shops in Broward County continues, with Snoopy’s Smoke Shop in Fort Lauderdale struck for the second time in a week. The latest incident occurred around 4 a.m. yesterday, marking the third similar break-in reported recently, according to NBC Miami.
Surveillance footage shows multiple suspects entering the store despite the alarm sounding. The owner confirmed significant losses, stating this was the second break-in within days.
CBS News Miami reported that the thieves took various products, including vapes, inventory, the cash register, and an iPad. The alarm company notified the owners, who contacted police after witnessing the burglary through security footage.
The store was left with shattered glass and scattered merchandise, similar to the previous incident. The Fort Lauderdale Police are continuing the investigation.
