Gaston County will host its first Gaston Writers Expo on November 8 at the Main Library, 1555 E. Garrison Blvd. in Gastonia. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to the public, according to the Gaston County government website.

The expo will feature more than 30 authors, musicians, and artists, including Amy Clipston, Michael Banks, Tina Martin, Beth Gatlin, and R. Dwayne Burks. Attendees can expect book signings, readings, live performances, and opportunities to meet local creators.

Admission is free, and visitors can also shop from local vendors. The event is supported by the Friends of the Gaston County Public Library, the Gaston Arts Council, and the North Carolina Arts Council, part of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
