The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is renewing its call for information in the 1985 homicide of 20-year-old Melissa Ann Ford in McIntosh County. According to a Georgia Bureau of Investigation press release, Ford was last seen on August 10, 1985, at Club Majesto in Crescent, Georgia. Her remains were found two months later off Church Road near I-95, and the case was ruled a homicide.

No charges have been filed, and the investigation remains open. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is asking anyone with information about Ford’s disappearance or death to come forward.
