A 15-year-old boy underwent surgery after being shot last night in Margate, according to officials. Local 10 reported that the shooting occurred at the intersection of Rock Island Road and Forest Boulevard.
The victim was transported to Broward General Hospital, where he was listed as a trauma alert and taken into surgery, NBC Miami reported. His current condition has not been released, and the circumstances leading to the shooting remain under investigation.
