Multnomah County voters have until tomorrow to register for the upcoming November 4 Special Election. According to a release from Multnomah County, registration can be completed online at oregonvotes.gov/register or in person at county elections offices. The election will feature ballot measures for the City of Portland and the Lake Oswego School District.
Multnomah County Elections is providing free assistance to voters with disabilities through its Voter Assistance Teams, who can offer support at voters’ homes or living facilities. Independent Voting Units (IVUs) with adaptive technology—such as adjustable text sizes and audio guidance—are available to help voters cast their ballots privately and independently. Free interpretation services, including American Sign Language and telephone or video interpretation in multiple languages, are also available.
Voters can use the Track Your Ballot service to monitor their ballot’s progress via text, email, or voice alerts. Absentee ballot services are also offered for those away from their home district, with applications available on the Multnomah County website or through the elections office.
Military and overseas ballots have already been mailed, and domestic mailings will begin after the registration deadline. Additional election details, including key dates and information about the Gresham Voting Center Express opening on Monday next week, can be found at multnomahvotes.gov.
