Miami Beach will hold a ceremony on Monday next week to honor the victims of the terrorist attack in Israel that occurred two years ago. The assault resulted in nearly 1,200 deaths and more than 250 hostages, some of whom reportedly remain in captivity.

According to the Miami Beach government website, Mayor Steven Meiner noted the impact of the attack, stating that Miami Beach continues to stand with Israel and those still held hostage. Following the attack, eight local firefighters traveled to Israel to assist while others were engaged in emergency response.

The ceremony will take place at Miami Beach Fire Headquarters at Fire Station No. 2, 2300 Pine Tree Drive, and is open to the public.

In addition, Miami Beach previously sent an ambulance to its sister city Nahariya, Israel, which was received by the American Friends of Magen David Adom.
