Miami-Dade residents are encouraged to mark their calendars as the Hometown Heroes Parade returns to Tropical Park on November 1, celebrating local heroes with a day of community pride and festivities. According to a Miami-Dade press release, the event aims to honor the everyday individuals who keep the community safe, healthy, and thriving — including firefighters, healthcare workers, police officers, and other essential personnel whose efforts often go unrecognized.
Gates open at 3 p.m., with the parade set to begin at 6:15 p.m., just as the sun sets and the evening leads into a fireworks display. Ahead of the main event, attendees can enjoy food, entertainment, and family-friendly activities, transforming Tropical Park into a lively center of celebration for all ages.
Families, friends, and residents are invited to gather for an afternoon of celebration and gratitude honoring frontline workers who have gone above and beyond in recent years. The Hometown Heroes Parade will highlight Miami-Dade’s community spirit through cheers, applause, and shared pride.
