San Diego is reeling from a hit-and-run incident that left a motorcyclist seriously injured. The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) reported that the event occurred yesterday at approximately 6:22 PM. A 42-year-old male was navigating Rosecrans Street on his KTM motorcycle when an unidentified vehicle collided with him while making an illegal turn and then fled the scene. The incident occurred in the Roseville/Fleetridge neighborhood, known for its bustling streets and local commerce. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with a knee injury that may require surgery.

Officer J. Perales, the SDPD Watch Commander, released details of the accident at the 1400 block of Rosecrans Street near Fenelon Street. The motorcyclist was traveling southbound in the number two lane when the unknown vehicle, also heading southbound but in the number one lane, made a fateful right turn onto Fenelon Street, striking the rider. 

The Traffic Division of the SDPD is leading the investigation into the serious injury hit-and-run. The authorities are looking for any leads that could help apprehend the perpetrator of this callous act.
