Nashville Man Charged with Homicide in Shooting Death of Pregnant Teen Girlfriend During Domestic Dispute

The suspect, 20-year-old Amare Ramey, surrendered himself to authorities that same afternoon, and MNPD has charged him with two counts of criminal homicide. Prior to the fatal incident, Ramey faced charges including aggravated burglary, carjacking, and aggravated assault. He was serving a four-year supervised probation from a March 2024 arrest.
