Drivers in Fort Lauderdale should expect nighttime lane closures at the intersection of North Andrews Avenue and NE/NW 8th Street starting Thursday for resurfacing work. Broward County announced the project, funded by gas tax revenue, will take place from 7 PM to 6 AM.
One lane will remain open in each direction during construction, and access to businesses and driveways will be maintained, according to the Public Works Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division.
