Three unidentified males approached the victim. One struck him with a bat, and while he was subdued, another took his backpack, which the victim reported contained $1,000. The individuals then fled the scene on foot, and their whereabouts are unknown. The assault was unprovoked, and the victim suffered a substantial loss.
