
Last night, a pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a WeGo bus on Dickerson Pike. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. near Ewing Drive.
According to the Nashville government website, authorities identified the victim as 64-year-old Patricia Owens, who was crossing the street with 65-year-old Jeffery Holley when the bus, traveling north, struck her with its front passenger side. Holley was hit by the bus’s side mirror.
Owens was taken to Skyline Medical Center with serious injuries, while Holley sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Police reported no signs of impairment from the bus driver. The Nashville Police Department continues to investigate the collision.
