Port St. Lucie will soon have a new United Soccer League (USL) franchise, the Port St. Lucie Sports Club, which will include both men’s and women’s teams.
City officials and USL representatives announced plans to build a 6,000-seat stadium within the 46-acre Walton & One mixed-use development. According to WPBF, the men’s team is expected to begin play in 2027 in USL League One, the third tier of professional soccer in the U.S., and a professional women’s team is also planned.
The club’s colors will be aquamarine, red marine, black, and white, with an anchor on the crest to represent Port St. Lucie. WFLX noted that USL officials are also exploring sites for a training facility and a broader sports complex in the city.
