Nashville's Lower Broadway was alive with the sound of music and the buzz of an excited crowd as over 30,000 fans gathered for the grand opening of Post Malone's new bar, Posty’s, which according to WSMV, spans an impressive 26,000-square-foot, three-floor complex complete with six bars, three stages, a VIP lounge, karaoke, and even a gift shop for the full-blown fan experience.
The event, with a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony at its forefront, featured Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell, Metro Police Chief John Drake, District Councilman Jacob Kupin and Director of Nightlife Benton McDonough, performances by Dierks Bentley, Lainey Wilson, the legendary duo Brooks & Dunn who joined Malone on stage creating a spectacle that undoubtedly became a night to remember though traffic management probably had a nightmare with the sudden influx; the ceremony was emceed by Wayne D from iHeartRadio, as mentioned by FOX 17.
Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, expressed his enthusiasm during the festivities, stating, "Greetings, ladies and gentlemen. I hope that everyone is having a kick ass motherf**king night, and I just wanted to say this is a new chapter for me completely, and I’m so honored that everyone came out," as reported in an enthusiastic statement obtained by Music Mayhem Magazine; he further promised free food and drinks for the evening, inviting all to partake in the celebrations.
