Heads up, drivers and residents of Doral: temporary lane closures are coming to NW 107th Avenue due to railroad signal maintenance. The work, conducted by CSX Transportation and Southern Commercial Development, LLC, is set to begin later this month and aims to keep the signal systems safe and reliable, the City of Doral has announced.
The affected stretch is between Dolphin Expressway (SR 836) and NW 12th Street—northbound lanes will be closed on October 18 and 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and southbound lanes on October 25 and 26 during the same hours. During these times, drivers will not be able to cross the tracks in either direction. Detour signage will be in place to help you navigate the closures, but it might be a good idea to allow for some extra travel time or plan an alternate route, as detailed by the city's release.
