In a tragic turn of events in Cincinnati last night, a 23-year-old woman, Rachel Counts, was shot and killed in what authorities have come to describe as a senseless act of violence. Following swift action by law enforcement, a suspect has been taken into custody and charged with murder. The fatal incident took place around 10:45 p.m. in the area of Kings Run Court in Winton Hills, an enclave within the city known for its tight-knit community.
Emergency services responded to calls for assistance, but despite their efforts, Counts succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Charged in her death is Omarion Horne, also 23. LOCAL12 reports that he was arrested on Monday, less than 24 hours after the shooting took place.
