
After an intensive search by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, 34-year-old Carlos Antonio Pacheco was arrested and charged with multiple sex crimes against minors. Captured at a job site just before 4 p.m., Pacheco faced allegations that include sexual battery, first-degree rape of a victim under 13, aggravated crimes against nature, and molestation of a juvenile, as reported by WDSU.
According to WBRZ, Pacheco strategically moved across Tangipahoa and St. Tammany parishes to avoid being apprehended by the authorities. The final breakthrough came after law enforcement received a tip from the public, which helped them to quickly track down and arrest Pacheco.
