The Big 12 Conference is stepping up its game for women's basketball this coming 2025-26 season, with the most national broadcast coverage it's seen in almost a decade. In a partnership with ESPN and FOX Sports, the league is setting up for what could be a watershed season for women's hoops, particularly for the Utah Utes, who'll feature in three national broadcasts.

Getting their game on, the Utes are set to face off against Syracuse in what should be a gripping match-up. The game is all set for Friday, Nov. 21, at 3 p.m. MT and will be broadcast on FS2, as shoehorned into the national viewing schedule by the Big 12's agreement with ESPN and FOX Sports. And if that wasn't enough to whet the basketball appetite, they're also going to square up against no less than the defending national champion UConn on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 12:30 p.m. MT over on FS1. These matchups are part of the Hall of Fame Women's Showcase.

While most of Utah's Big 12 Conference road games will be available on ESPN+, the one to circle in your calendar is on Monday, February 16. The Utes are making their first-time appearance on Fox in a hot contest at Oklahoma State, sure to draw viewers from all corners. "Utah fans can watch every Big 12 regular-season game in 2025-26 through the ESPN app on their mobile, tablet or Smart TV," according to UtahUtes.com.

The Utes are raring to go for the upcoming season and will kick off their first game on Monday, Nov. 3, against Sioux Falls, as part of the annual Future Scholars Game. The Big 12 action is expected to take place commencing on December 22 in Arizona, with the Big 12 Women's Basketball Tournament following suit later in the T-Mobile Center, Kansas City. After finishing the previous season with a respectable 22-9 record and making it to the NCAA tournament for the fourth consecutive time, Utah is predicted to finish eighth in the Big 12 by the coaches' poll. Returning for the Utes are four critical players, including Maty Wilke and Reese Ross, alongside Samantha Crispe and Brooke Walker.
